As I was painting, light patches in the shape of long, narrow tubes formed on the surface. I decided to follow the lines and create layers of this pattern.

This is my version of a playful forest of trees, interconnected and woven together in a sort of network of greens and whites. I wanted the natural wood grain texture underneath to show through to add another layer of woodsyness.
