encaustic class and workshop

This week and weekend were a blast!  I co-taught a series of encaustic classes with Kathryn  at Batesville High School in Batesville, IN.  I wasn’t sure how to get about 100 students set up with hot plates (a logistical nightmare!) but somehow it all worked out in the end.

Communitea Art Show

Last night was the opening night of Communitea.  It was an absolute blessing to see about 30 of my friends show up to the event!  A piece sold (with several others saying they’re seriously considering purchasing some!) and the gallery wants to give me another show!
