I am new to Encaustics but LOVE the medium. I am addicted to creating art using this medium. I am a college student and my major is in Fine Arts… concentrations in painting and drawing/ and Printmaking. I am currently taking an Encaustics class which has a completely different feel than using the oil paint and water colors that I have used in my painting classes. It is a very fun medium and I just go where it takes me. My professor is a printmaker but she took a class and she also fell in love with this medium. I am excited to be a part of this new/old world style of art.
