After discovering this video for Amnesty International today, my little brain has been on overdrive thinking about the possibilities of collaborating with my husband on video installations.  Any other encaustic artists out there who can’t help but see the world as one big ball of waxy possibilities?!  ;)

This is new piece I worked on all day today in the studio.  I attempted to create a pseudo-landscape by using book covers and threaded spines as the land, and a dried hydrangea (resembling a tree) growing out from it.
