two up and one down

I’ve been abnormally busy lately, getting ready for a major move / transition as well as putting up two shows (at Solstice Cafe and Tongue and Groove club) and taking another one down (Stone Soup Kitchen).

My studio has moved!

I have finally moved into a space in downtown Atlanta.  I’m excited about the move because that’ll put me closer to the city I have learned to love.  I am still offering private encaustic painting lessons from my Roswell, GA location.  But all classes and workshops will now be hosted in the new space!

encaustic class and workshop

This week and weekend were a blast!  I co-taught a series of encaustic classes with Kathryn  at Batesville High School in Batesville, IN.  I wasn’t sure how to get about 100 students set up with hot plates (a logistical nightmare!) but somehow it all worked out in the end.
