Do you ever feel like a piece of art you make just doesn’t “feel right” after you’ve made it? A few pieces in this By Its Cover series have felt incomplete or just plain wrong, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on why until a few weeks ago….
Below are the before and after shots of a few recent pieces. Be forewarned: they are totally different! After pushing through, I feel much more satisfied with the results. It’s all part of the art-making process I suppose: pain-staking self critique and revision after revision until you can finally say you’ve reconciled the image in your head with the thing you’ve created!
